What Is Green
When we talk about "green" we usually mean "natural" or some may say "in tune with nature". Nature usually balances itself out, where organisms leave waste, other organisms use that waste to survive. Man is part of this process, but in or efforts to bypass the natural process we developed waste that isn't as easy to clean up. "Going green" or "green living" is an attempt to get back to that process, or change our ways to fit back into nature. We can still live very well and use technology, we just need to be more aware of our choices, and how they affect us and our environment then choose the things that put us back in to that natural balance. Where does the healthy part come in? As it turns out, natural products are healthier for us. The food we eat, what we use on our body, what we use around our home, and the energy we use. |
